Mock bar of this Institute is equipped to train the students regarding the service of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and the preparation of various cocktails and mock tails.
The SVIHMT has a separate mock bar which is center of attraction for its students. Students here learn pros and cons of beverage service and various bar operation, like bar management, bar operation, inventories, building procedure various garnishes etc.
Our food production lab is well equipped with all the latest catering equipment and appliance.
The spacious and well ventilated kitchen lab helps the students to learn essentials of food production art case. International cuisines are mentioned in our food production lab with modern technique of cooking, precautions. The Importance of hygiene is also taught here.
The front office lab is beautifully designed in the form of a hotel lobby to give practical exposure of working in the front office department of a five star hotel. The lab is also equipped with the Fidelio System which is used in top category hotels.
The SVIHMT has developed a well designed front office has with all the modern facilities. The gracious interiors and luxurious furnitures, sophisticated lighting at the lobby area with its beautiful reception counter is a delight for hospitality trainees to work.
The housekeeping department has a well equipped lab, having a modern laundry fitted with the latest equipment A guest suite measuring to the standards of five star deluxe suites is available to give the students practical exposure in housekeeping.
The institute also provide housekeeping Practical training in its magnificent and well maintained Guest room and practical lab. The lab is well equipped with all the modern equipment and amenities. Housekeeping department feels pride to keep hotel a home away from home this is what emphasis is made in their practical session.
The institute library is well stocked with national and international periodicals/magazines/journals related to hospitality education/industry. Collage library also has the facility of e-library, where students can explore the world wide information of hospitality industry.
VCD, CD, DVD'S and other facilities are also provided. Shri Vinayak Institute of Hospitality Management & Technology has well attached library with a large collection of text and reference books. The library is based on modern set-up with computer in it which supports study & research. Students are also encouraged to use journals, magazines and periodicals available. It is treasure of resources that is where expensive and rare books are available which a student can consult.
